When you think of rock-stars, you think of stoned rockers snorting blow off the asses of hookers. Biting the heads off of animals and dying from mixtures of drugs and alcohol.
Dave Grohl breaks those stereotypes. In fact at Monday night’s concert in Branson Missouri, Grohl stops his band the Foo Fighters, and according to witnesses he nicely asked one of the road crew to bring him a pen and something to write on.
Using the back of Zeppelin bassist John Paul Jones as a writing surface, Grohl quickly scribbled something on a napkin and handed it to band mate Taylor Hawkins
“Give this to Obama” said the humble guitarist. “Foo Force One is waiting.” Referring to Grohl’s private jet which is always fueled and ready to go.
The singer shyly admitted that he had solved world hunger and wanted to write it down before he forgot it, with the crowd erupting in spontaneous applause. “Shut up, shut up. Now that everybody’s full, what do ya say we play some rock n roll?”
Rock on indeed
